Binghamton University kicks off the academic year with the 15^th annual University Fest

The return of students to campus kicks off this year with the 15^th annual University Fest, to be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 23. The event welcomes visitors and the campus community to the Binghamton University Peace Quad to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year.

The festival will include carnival rides, vendor booths, a children’s play area, poster sales, food, student organization tables, as well as music from local bands. Also, members of the community can enjoy a free book giveaway and refreshments, as part of the festivities.

University Fest is sponsored by the Binghamton University President’s Office, the Office of Campus Life, Sodexho Campus Services, the Student Association and WHRW.
